Vitamins supplements ensure health and vitality?

How enthusiastic are you about taking vitamin and mineral pills now?

Vitamins and minerals, known together as micronutrients, are substances our bodies need in small amounts for normal growth and healthy functioning. The level of each nutrient we need is known as the recommended daily intake or RDI.
While the presence of micronutrients in food has been linked to the prevention of a wide range of diseases, the benefits of taking them in an isolated form – whether it's a pill, powder or potion – are less clear.

A recent analysis by the US National Institutes of Health concluded there was "encouraging evidence" that particular groups within the population could reap rewards from specific supplements. Women who take a combination of calcium and vitamin D after menopause, for instance, have stronger bones and suffer fewer fractures.

But the study found such instances were exceptions to the broader rule. In the vast majority of cases, there simply hasn't been enough high-quality research to say whether or not vitamin and mineral supplements have the positive health effects so often claimed.

Vitamins and minerals beneficial effect depends on the right balance of nutrients and in the right proportions. When we eat anything that is not fully digested what remains is a toxic residue. At indeed, multivitamins are not fully digested and absorbed. So when we don't fully break down and absorb vitamin and mineral supplements we are in fact creating deadly toxins for our body leading to the formation of endless diseases.
